I have an rsx base model and would like to put in an alarm with remote start.

could you add the rsx to the database and provide diagrams or info on how to install remote start

in a manual transmission car

will I need the clutch bypass wire for remote start

if so I didn't see the color or location on the info you sent

it is a manual trans vehicle

Unfortunately, I don't have this information yet as we update this info as the vehicles come in. Most Honda and Acuras have a 2 wire clutch bypass system that you can get to by reaching uder the dash. It will be a negative trigger though. Sorry, I can't help you further on this. Try to repost for the clutch bypass wire for additional help.

Hey Audio Xclusive,

In Acura usually the clutch bypass is easy enough.  Follow the BLACK/ White starter wire from the column to the clutch relay.  There is a thick BLACK/ Red wire which is the starter wire going out to the starter itself.  Simply put your Starter output wire of your remote starter wire here.  The E-brake wire can be found at the daytime running lights module if your car is so equipped and it is a GREEN/ Red wire neg trigg.

They will be the same. The Type-S just has engine, exhaust & suspension differences, not the electrical or the ignition.
