Trying to install a Bulldog 200B + GM-SL into a 06 Silverado with little luck. This is the first time I have ever tried to install a remote starter. Here is a short over view and issues:
GM-SL:
Connector 1 is straight forward on wiring.
Issue: Plug in connector while holding program button, LED light does not "flash" even after 5 min of holding program button. Why?
Connector 2: The pink and pink/black wires do not get used as I have passlock 2. Am I correct? Also where does the white wire (- output door trigger)Hook to?
Bulldog:
Do I have to use a hood pin switch? Would prefer to not.
Ther is one wire marked as "(-) 200ma Programmable Output Dual Pulse Door unlock Output". Do I use this wire if so where? I was assuming the GM-SL controlled the door locks.
That's it for now, the more I dig into this the more I should have paid someone to do it.
