I'm helping someone install a compustar 2w900fmr-as on their 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee. I haven't messed with many alarm/remote start systems so any advice would be greatly appreciated. Here's the equipment:

Vehicle: Jeep 2004 Grand Cherokee-Overland Edition

Alarm: Compustar 2W900FMR-AS

Doorlock/transponder JDL-PK from bypasskit.com

Question: What wires from the alarm do I need to connect to transponder/bypass? Also, he would like to keep the driver door priority unlock. Again, I've mostly done audio systems and not many alarms so any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

If its just a transponder all you should need is power and ground using the Status ground wire or Ground while Running wire.

That bypass makes life easy, make sure you have 2 programed igniton keys to program the bypass. My advice is kind of chessy but just read the instaructions that came with it before you install it. If you follow them it will work perfectly.
