I am wondering if someone has done doorlocks on one of these, I have tried for about a day now with no such luck

this vehicle is the one with the smart/intelligent key and has the full factory alarm

I have checked about 5 sites that say different things, This is what I have   BLUE in the driver kick panel is arm/disarm with resistors and blah blah blah, does this wire also lock the doors or does it strictly do factory arm/disarm

any help will be appreciated

thanks in advance  Mike

After reading on the Astrochart, the blue wire you mentioned in your post controls lock functions of ONLY the drivers door.

The light green that is listed above controls ALL the doors and the security.

I should of mentioned I have the 2006 mazdaspeed 6

i have actually figured it out and it was different than what you said KarTuneMan and cibo55

the wire is blue/white in the driver kick panel, it is in a white 24 pin plug that is part of the harness coming out of the door

this wire controls factory arm/disarm, as well as lock/unlock, it also controls domelight, it is straight negative trigger through a relay and for lock it is negative through a 1000 ohm resistor and a relay

i think the wiring for the factory alarm and locks is a bit different in the 2006 mazda 6 than the 2006 mazdaspeed 6
