The parking lights are wired like so:

there are 2 wires from the light switch you need. You will also need 1 relay. From the switch, take and tap off of the WHITE/ black, and go to pin 87. Break (cut) the RED / white. Take the switch side of this wire to pin 87a, and the other half to pin 30. Ground pin 86, and use your POS+ trigger light flash from the R/S to pin 85.

I did my 07 Jetta last month and it was the most difficult car I have ever done. I didn't purchase any modules and did everything W2W. Some of the colors didn't match so I had to do a lot of testing. Also, the method suggessted for the parking lights turned on all of the lights, not just the parking lights. If you get a different outcome, let me know. I had to go directly to the parking light wires to get it to work. Also, for the door locks, I had to go directly into the door to get it to work correctly. Not only that, a 240 ohm resistor doesn't work. I had to use a 1K and if you get the 240 ohm to work, let me know. There is a lot of other posts about the 07 Jetta that I started.....it may help you to take a look.

I did one and took me about 3 hours to do an alarm & remote starter system. Pretty basic for the most part, just make sure that you use CANBUS modules to make things easier on you.
