I am about to install an alarm/remote start on this vehicle and was wondering if anyone had any tips or easy ways to catch wires.
-I see that I might have to tap a wire in each door to get the door triggers...any other way?....also
-where can i find the parking brake wire instead of tearing the parking brake apart...need for turbo timer....
-door lock and unlock wires??? only in the door???
-window roll up and hood pin, trunk pin??? any
-ccm?? where is the comfort control module? what does it look like?
any help would be appreciated thank you

No No NO....you still want to tell us what your puttin in.

PASSIVE ANTI-THEFT YES TRANSPONDER   SEE NOTES
12 VOLTS Red Ignition harness   +
 IGNITION Black Ignition harness   +
ACCESSORY BLACK/ red Ignition harness   +
STARTER RED / blue or RED / black Ignition harness   +
KEY SENSE BROWN / red Ignition harness   +
TACH SIGNAL GREEN/ brown Blue plug behind instrument cluster   AC
This wire is not present on some models. If so, you must use the crank sensor wire on the lower front of the engine. This wire is WHITE on a 2 pin plug. See the photo.
FUEL INJECTOR Opposite from RED / violet At any injector on engine   AC
LOCK Yellow/blue At module in driver's door   -
If the vehicle does not have power windows, the lock wires can be found directly at the alarm module without going into the doors. The alarm module is located on the left side of the steering column and the colors will be YELLOW/BLUE for lock/arm and YELLOW /GREEN for unlock/disarm. On either model, if you extend the ground pulse to either the lock or unlock wire, you can roll all the windows up or down.
UNLOCK Dk.GREEN/ red At module in driver's door   -
If the vehicle does not have power windows, the lock wires can be found directly at the alarm module without going into the doors. The alarm module is located on the left side of the steering column and the colors will be YELLOW/BLUE for lock/arm and YELLOW /GREEN for unlock/disarm. On either model, if you extend the ground pulse to either the lock or unlock wire, you can roll all the windows up or down.
GLO-PLUG SIGNAL Blue/green Blue plug behind instrument cluster   -
DOORPIN Blue/gray At alarm module on left of column   -
This is the domelight output wire. If you need the separate door triggers, they are BROWN / YELLOW (driver's door), BROWN / VIOLET (passenger door) and BROWN / WHITE (rear doors). All are found at the alarm module on the left side of the column.. However, if the vehicle is equipped with power windows, the wiring changes and you will have to go into each door to get the triggers.
HOODPIN BROWN / red At alarm module on left of column   -
TRUNK PIN BROWN / black At alarm module on left of column   -
TRUNK RELEASE GREEN/ brown At alarm module on left of column   -
FACTORY ARM Arms with lock wire
If the vehicle does not have power windows, the lock wires can be found directly at the alarm module without going into the doors. The alarm module is located on the left side of the steering column and the colors will be YELLOW/BLUE for lock/arm and YELLOW /GREEN for unlock/disarm. On either model, if you extend the ground pulse to either the lock or unlock wire, you can roll all the windows up or down.
FACTORY DISARM Disarms with unlock wire
A single pulse disarms the alarm, a double pulse will also unlock all the doors. FOR REMOTE START: The vehicle can be remote started without disarming the factory alarm by using a relay to open the BLACK/ BLUE wire (ignition sense) at the steering column during remote start. You will also have to run your remote starter's start output directly to the starter relay RED / BLACK on the back of the fusepanel to bypass the factory starter kill.
BRAKESWITCH RED / black At switch above brake pedal   +
 PARKLIGHTS Gray/purple & Gray/brown At light switch harness   +
Left and right parking light circuits are independent and must be isolated with diodes or relays. See the TIP diagram.
HAND BRAKE BROWN / yellow Behind relay #173 on fusepanel   -
HORN BLACK / YELLOW Behind horn relay on fusepanel   +
CLUTCH SWITCH RED / black Behind starter relay on fusepanel   TYPE 1

Breathe deeply, and be calm.... In my opinion (remember in "MY" opinion) these cars suck to work on. Period! German design at it best. And I'm German......
