I just picked up a Viper 310V Alarm. I already have a 551T D.E. Remote starter installed but not working cause the ground and power are disconected (Was like this when I bought it) and there is no remote.
I read in the install manual for the Viper that they can be connected together. Not sure how yet.
I want to do the COMPLETE deal on the Viper install. The power door lock/unlock, Trunk open, Hood and Trunk pins, starter disable, etc.
I have installed many stereos over the years (Head Units, speakers) and I have been working on cars since I was 16, (many years ago, leave it at that) so I am not an idiot to Automotive Electrical.
But I have never installed a Remote Start or an Alarm System. I could really use some help here. I have read the instructions and feel a bit confident that I can do this.
First off is there anyone in the Edmonton Alberta Canada Area that does installs on the side? If so contact me and we maybe able to work something out.
So I am going to start this install in about a week. Is there some advice or suggestions on an install that you could help me with making this easier. Like how to hook into my door unlocks/locks (+/-) connections.
Thanks in advance with any help.
Shawn

Thanks for the info.
The 652T Resistor Pack? Is that so that I can combine the 310 and 551?
