my setup consists of:
1 Power Acoustik BAMF2000/1D monoblock amplifier
1 Power Acoustik 2ohm DVC MOFO brigded to 1.3ohms
1 VR3 1Farad digital capacitor
All 4guage power/ground cables
ok so my situation is my amp clips/shuts off for split seconds when the volume is turned to about 75%...and also i hear clicking sounds from the amp while the subwoofer is not running... is this because my amp's gain is not set properly?

This is impossible.  If it's a DVC 2-ohm speaker, it can be wired for 4-ohms or 1-ohm, but not for 1.3 ohms.

Check your voltage from your amp ground, is it mounted and/or are you using spacers under the amp for air flow? Is it in a location where its getting air? Whats your wire size?
