Looking to connect to a good VSS source without upsetting EMC and generate error messages on display for

a 2009 Toyota Highlander Hybrid without a Navi System.

Any pics and tips will be greatly appreciated!

The Vss is on the radio plug, blue, pin 3 in the 20 pin plug(without JBL). If it has JBL it will be under the passenger seat at the amp, light green, pin 11 in the 24 pin plug.

Awsome... I'll post the results next week after testing...

Today I tried the violet wire off the spare connector behind the radio but no pulses... I believe this is the connector for the Navi system.

Thank you  Mike_Super_Tech_Manager

Hello,

Would this be the same location and wiring color for 2011 or 12? Please advise.

Thanks,

Danny
