Have a customer that wants a starter put in his 1997 Buick LeSabre. He tells me he has had many problems with the factory alarm going off and being a PINTA!!! Is there anyway to totally disable the alarm? I know the disarm wire is light green at the colume..... Could this wire be put to ground permanently so the alarm will never trigger??? This is an older gentleman and he does not want the alarm going off at all.. Thanks in advance!!!!!

Here is a link to the Owners Manual.    http://www.extendedgmwarranty.com/owners-manual/buick/1997-Buick-Lesabre.pdf   It does not mention any way to program the Security System to OFF.  It does mention how to lock the car without enabling the alarm.  As described below :

Remember, the theft-detenrrent system won’t activate if you

lock the doors with a key or manual door lock. It activates
only if you use a power door lock switch with a door
open, or the Remote Keyless Entry transmitter. You should
also remember that you can start your vehicle with the
correct ignition key if the alarm has been set off. You must
still shut off the alarm by inserting the key in the door
lock, or by pressing the UNLOCK button on the Remote
Keyless Entry transmitter.

Maybe setting up a 528T timer to automatically pulse the Disarm wire 3 minutes after a Lock signal?

Soldering is fun!

Does the vehicle have a hood pin wire?
I know this works on Honda's... not sure about the buick (probably not) but if you ground that hood pin wire it will not allow the factory alarm to arm... again, I doubt it will work on this car, but its something to look at. Possibly even the trunk pin???

Thanks for your help.  Seems he has always had trouble with the factory alarm.. So would like to disable it all together. The disarm wire is lt green negative.. Do you think if it was grounded it would be permanently disarmed???
