No, you don't have to remote the radio to get at the ignition wires.  You have to remove some center console panels to get at the BCM ( passenger side ) and if you remove the driver's side panel and a trim piece beside the radio, you can get enough slack to make your ignition connections.  Photo below :

the malibu won't crank with a evo-all-the evo-all programmed properly.i then removed the evo-all and installed a omega ol-rs-gm2 and that won't program,it has a flashing red led all the time.this module plugs into the factory harness so the wiring has to be correct.

Sorry.  Just kidding about swapping out the Malibu but that is two different modules not working on the same car.

The Malibu in the photo was a 2011 model that I did a few years ago using the ADS DL flashed with ADS DL GM2

firmware.   Fairly smooth install, with connections at the BCM, ignition switch and OBD2 connector.

Never used the Omega OL-GM(RS)-GM2, but it looks like it needs to be flashed with the correct firmware prior to

use.   Do you have the OL-LOADER and did you do the firmware flash?

Soldering is fun!
