I have the Python G3203P installed in my 1993 Nissan 240SX. This is single-wire Type F OEM door locks - ground to unlock, break connection to lock. Door locks work perfectly, and I can manually ground or break the circuit and they lock and unlock.
This alarm unit has built in lock 'relays' that appear to be perfect for my car.   Using the Type F, dual relay diagram from
The12volt, I have the unlock working perfectly with the alarm disarm.

The trouble is that the arm / lock function does nothing to the locks (the alarm arms fine).   I have rechecked the wiring and it matches the Type F dual relay diagram perfectly.   If I place a simple switch on the single ORANGE / black wire after the alarm output, it locks no problem.   The alarm unit does not appear to be breaking the circuit at all.
Details:
- stock wire ORANGE / black switch side attached to both relays input
- [unlock] 87 (Violet); [lock] 87a (WHITE/ Black)
- [unlock] 30 (Blue/Black)to ground
- [lock] 30 (GREEN/ Black) to ORANGE / black (not the switch side)
- The rest is internal to the alarm unit

I'm thinking that the unit may be broken (all other functions work fine) or perhaps something is disabled (I carefully checked the menu chart and can't find anything).
Had anyone heard of this before?   Any suggestions?    I am about to simply add an external relay and hook it to an different alarm output like trunk that I am not using, but I would prefer to have it work as designed.
Thanks!

Violet to ground.
Blue/black to OEM wire.
Cut OEM wire at join and join WHITE/ black to the blue/black.
Violet/black to other side of cut OEM wire.
Don't use BROWN / black or green /black.
That's off the top of my head but worth a try.

Howard's might work but the wiring below if exactly as per the Type F diagram above using the Vipers internal relays.
Cut 240sx ORANGE / Black wire.  Connect as follows :
H2/1 Violet to switch side of cut ORANGE / Black wire
H2/2 Blue/Black to chassis ground
H2/3 BROWN / Black not used
H2/4 Violet/Black not used
H2/5 GREEN/ Black to door lock module side of cut ORANGE / Black wire
H2/6 White Black to H2/1 ( & switch side of cut ORANGE / Black wire )
Soldering is fun!

Thanks for replying Howie II & kreg357!
I do have the wiring exactly as kreg357 posted. Exactly. My only thought now is that the unit has a stuck 'relay' (probably electronic) and is broken.   Since it is several years old, I will wire in my own external relay.
Thanks again and if anyone else has a comment please post it.
