So I bought my wife a 2015 CRV LX for Valentine. After I bought it she wanted remote start. Honda brand will only work on EX model, WHAT?!! So I'm going with 3rd party remote start.
Viper - One button 2-way
or
Compustar - led 2-way
Which is your favorite?

I carried both and they are equally well built/reliable. I like the compustar just because of the idatalink blade + modular setup they have ie: you can change to any remote in the future. Here are a few things to consider.
Remote cosmetics - art is beautiful in the eye of the beholder. 1 buttons are simple to use, but the 4 button from compustar is good because you have the trunk release (LX has this if I'm not mistaken)
Range - both have 3000Ft of open range.
DIY install difficulty - Viper 7/10 Compustar 8/10 (programming changes slight more challenging)
Integration platforms - Viper DBI external bypass, Compustar Dock-able idatalink BLADE-AL (cleaner install)
Remote warranty - Viper 1 year, Compustar 1 year on Prime ex: - 2WG9SP or 2 year on Pro - P2W902SP
Unit warranty - life on the brain....assuming you buy authorized. Online sales do not count as authorized for the most part. Read before you buy
costs - viper is generally readily available on ebay, amazon etc. More competition=lower prices. Compustar is quite strict with their sales, so only a hand full of online vendors sell them.

Thanks for reply.
I'm getting professional installed.
I'm thinking of Viper even tho it's only one button.

Get quotes for these system. I've never been a fan on the LED remotes, but the 4806 is quite nice due to the 1mile range. Compustar doesn't have an equivalent just yet.

Compustar lows Viper out of the water on every aspect.

Or use and use the OEM key fob to start the vehicle. When you use the T-harness the OEM key fob will continue to work even with the vehicle running.
If you wish to add an aftermarket key fob for longer range then you can add CrimeStopper, Compustar or viper to the system.

I have used both and both are equally as reliable as far as quality is concerned. Now as far as remote looks I like the Viper. Since you are not installing it that may be a factor. Now from an installation point of view. Compustar all day long. The blade interface just works awesome. The installs are very easy to make clean and tidy. The remotes have gotten much better from compustar. They used to be ugly as hell. I use prestige and code alarm for all my installs but I do mostly dealer work. Now my personal vehicle and work van and all my retail customers I use compustar. The Voxx expeditor program is very good and I buy more than just remote start from them. They just came out with a similar to compustar brain with the blade cartridge called Prestige Pro Core. I need to try it out asap. If it's anywhere near as good as compustar I will use them exclusive. The new remotes for Prestige and Pursuit(dealer expeditor line) are VERY nice. The dealers love them.

I have the Compustar Pro T11 remote and I honestly don't believe there is anything out there that can compete with it. Maybe
