hello everyone. What ive got is a 1999 jeep cherokee sport. I recently purchased the avital 4103L remote start and keyless entry. I got everything installed the other evening but am having one small problem; my parking lights don't turn on when remote started? I tapped the white wire from the unit to the bk/ylw at the switch. Ive checked everything i can think of and still can't get them to work. The parking lights work fine with the switch. When i turn them on manually i am getting 12 volts out of the tap at the switch and even at the fuse in the white wire. something i noticed last night when messing with it. When i remote start the jeep i dont get 12 volts coming from the Avital unit? Remote starts are pretty new to me and i feel its a minor thing in the grand scheme; everything else with the Avital works correctly. Im beginning to wonder if that circuit in the unit is faulty? Any help is much appreciated. Thank you

The 4103 sometimes comes with a jumper taped to the brain.  This jumper is used to select the polarity of the Parking Light output.  Did you insert the jumper into the side of the brain at the (+) position?
Soldering is fun!

AHHHHH!!!
I knew it had to be something simple! I was under the thought that by default the unit didn't need any jumper inserted cause it was outputting 12 volts +, The jumper is still taped to the brain box under the dash. thank you very much and I am willing to bet thats all it is! I'll check it out later tonight after I shovel this terrible white stuff that fell all night!
