I've already figured out that with a DBALL2 my 2008 Camry shuts down when a door is opened. Looking at other DEI options the install guide for the 4x10 digital module contradicts itself and I'm wondering if anyone can tell me for sure if it will allow me to get in and drive the vehicle without it shutting down.

PAGE 5 has the little yellow exclamation that says "No takeover feature is available on Push-to-Start vehicles."
PAGE 40 goes on to describe how to "get in and go" with a Push To Start vehicle, the fob in the illustrations is even accurate to my own.

Any idea what Page 40 on the install guide I linked to above is referring to?

Just to be clear, that is a Toyota issue and as of me typing this there is no way for an aftermarket remote start to have take over since they are just copying the Toyota factory remote start commands. It is for security reasons and because of the way the BCM interprets the remote start condition. check back annually with your installer or these forums to see if anything has changed, but in the immediate future the answer is there will be no take over available.
