I just benched tested a ADS module.
Press and hold the programming button, then plug in the black 4 pin connector.
Continue to hold the program button for about 3-5 seconds. the LED should flash rapidly RED, then release the button.
It should stay RED for about three seconds, then go out, then in about 2-3 seconds start blinking Green.
Thank you for doing that!
I will try it tonight, even if I did it before. With this new information I have a better idea of what is expected. If the module is not flashed, will it do the same when we try to reset it or will it do what mine is doing?(Blink once every second continously)
Regards
Daniel

The module I used was new out of the box, not flashed with anything.

I have yet to see a module loose it's flash entirely. A brand new bypass typically comes loaded with a ch4 firmware from the factory. Technically no modules leave the manufacture blank, as they test it by flashing It with some firmware.

You are correct Ted.
I guess what I was trying to say is that I had not flashed it with anything, as it was straight out of the box and what and when the LED flashes. Thanks for clarifying. My goof.

Hi,
I did a reset again and the result is the same.
I conclude that the module is defective, I will replace it.
Thank you Tedmond and Smokeman1 for your support for degugging it.
Regards
Daniel

the only other thing i can think of, if there is a constant ground on the blue wire of the 4 pin connector, you wont be able to reset it. Use a small knife or pick-depin the wire and try another reset.

I will try it and let you know.
Thank you (again)

Just want to be sure, ALL other connections/connectors are NOT connected when you are doing the reset procedure. Correct

Yes everything was disconnected. I tried it three more times without success.
I wasted enough time with it, it is going to go in the trash can!
Thanks
Daniel
