I installed an Audiovox Panther PQ620C. The install went well, no surprises.

The problem is, I cannot find a Negative while armed wire to intstall a starter kill relay on the vehicle.

I would really like to have a built in starter kill , Maybe add a Latch relay? Or am I just missing something simpler.

Also there is fourth button on the remoter Marked "option" . This is not mentioned in the install guide, Any ideas what wires this controlls.

Thanks all for looking.

It might be labelled GWA, ground whilst armed or "status" output.
Can you print or link to the installation guide (wiring diagram)?
Yes of course you can add a latching relay triggered by the lock wire (diode after the join). Depends on vehicle and lock wiring.

The Panther PA620C has no ground while armed output. You could hook up the blue/black Ground while running to control an anti-grind relay during remote start, and an old school kill switch to use the same relay to open the start lead when you want extra protection.
Hook up as follows:
86: Ignition
85: Ground while running (blue/black) from PA620 and to one side of switch
87a: Key side of vehicle start wire
87: PA620 (Purple)"Start" wire
30: Motor side of vehicle start wire
Other side of switch to ground.
General purpose 1N400x Diode between 86 and 85, band toward 86.
Hope this helps.
