I am working on a 2006 Buick Lacrcosse with factory remote start. I have installed a 1 mile range after market keyless entry. I am looking for a wire on the factory remote start that can be triggered by the after market aux button. I don't want to use any bypass modules. Just a wire to trigger factory remote start. I have all the door locks working without any bypass or can-buss modules.

There is no such wire. The remote starter can only be activated by a data signal. You must install a bypass module like a DEI DB-ALL2 module which can be used with an RF kit to extend the range of the factory remote starter.

I was Hoping to send a signal to the X-Link wire. Looks like I will have to use DBALL2 or 1900G. Thanks Sparkie. Appreciate your time!!!
