The alarm works. I have a few issues with it though. I want the alarm to disarm when I press the trunk pop.is there any way to do it. If you disarm using unlock button with doors shut it rearms. Another thing it does is when is passive arms it it beeps after 45 seconds and cuts out dome then in about 10 more seconds it lock and arms.

As far as I know there is no way for the Viper to disarm when you pop the trunk. The brain does have disarm options but that is for vehicles with factory alarm. The reason it probably takes so long to passive arm, was that the dome light supervision wire was used instead of the door triggers. When you close the door and arm it with the viper the dome light will stay on because of a delay. With the factory keyless it shuts off right away when locked. If you switch from domelight to the actual door triggers that will take care of the issue.
