Hello!
I'm looking for an installation manual for a Python 4206P R/S. I've searched through the provided manuals on this forum, but with my limited knowledge I'm not sure which manual would safely apply to my unit. I appreciate any help!
Thanks

The Viper 5301, Clifford 1.3x, or the Python 580 should be the same. The differences will be in the number of connectors.
The older ones will have a 7 pin, and two 5pin harness, or an 18 pin Aux/Remote start input/output harness. Yours probably has a 24 pin harness.
There is a download for the Viper 5301 with 18 pin harness
Also try Viper 4204 in the downloads section. That list the 24 pin manual
When all else fails, Read the Instructions

Hello,
I'm looking for some sort of guide or cheat sheet for alarms pertaining to my Python 2-way remote. Mostly because I have no idea what the different chimes and beeps mean along with light combinations and I can't find any detailed info. It's a 4206P, but I'm sure it shares the same programming with many other models and brands.
Also, I had my remote go off today (in company training no less) for no apparent reason. In my haste to get it to shutup, I think I remember the function and unlock button lighting up. It was making the same chime that it does when the remote start function is reaching its timer and the vehicle is about to shutdown. However, the vehicle was not running. Could it be low battery for the remote? It went off twice within maybe 2 or 3 minutes. Thinking the first time was a fluke, I just let it slide, but the second time the instructor was annoyed...
Thanks for any help

Go to Python.com, then support. It will allow you to download the complete manual.
