thanks for the quick response

are you meaning for me to flash to the original/lowest firmware version?

or flash to the original/default firmware settings and then adjust from there?

Try the original first, hopefully Ted will chime in, he knows more about this product than I, trouble is he's 3 hours ahead of you and I'm 8 but I have a trick with DB-ALL that often works, I try different software to see what works! It might work with your vehicle.

HI Howie,

well, i finally got around to getting to it.

reflashed the firmware to the latest NON beta version.

reprogrammed the bypass and reset tach and everything works again...

we'll see for how long i guess. If it somehow "stops working" i'll be scratching my head at how or why things will seem to work for a bit and then stop.

weird.

can't say "thank you" enough there How.... sometimes the too obvious simple stuff like this that seems "too good to be true" isn't something i'd often expect... provided that this thing holds together
