Hello, I just installed a new amp and sub in my 2014 Highlander. Here are the specifics:
2014 Toyota Highlander with Navigation and 6spkrs (non-JBL system)
Amp-Soundstream Rubicon 1.1600D
LOC connected to rear speaker outputs.
Sub-T3 Audio T1000 (10" 1000W 4ohm DVC) wired in parallel 2ohm net
My problem is that the overall output is much less than I anticipated. Also, if I unplug either the R or L feed to the amp the gain is increase significantly but still less than expected. I confirmed that the LOC is connected to the proper speaker wires per Toyota's diagram and all of the gains are maxed out on the LOC and the amp. Thank you in advance for any advice on trouble shouting.
Todd

You are using a line out converter that you have 1 channel wired out of phase. Reverse the wires on 1 channel of the input into the Line Out Converter.
