I just recently put an avital 4113 one button remote start on a 2006 ford f250 diesel with factory keyless entry. The remote start works however I need some guidance on how to wire it correctly.
This is the information I pulled from the directed pdf wiring for a 2006 f250.
COLOR LOCATION POL.
Battery 1 Yellow [30A] In Ignition Harness Positive (there are two wires)
Battery 2 Lt GREEN/ Purple [30A] In Ignition Harness Positive
Ignition 1 RED / Green In Ignition Harness Positive
Starter 1 Green In Ignition Harness Positive
Accessory 1 Gray / YELLOW (1) In Ignition Harness Positive
Accessory 2 RED / Black (1) In Ignition Harness Positive
Accessory 3 Blue/Green (6) In Ignition Harness Positive
I believe the accessory wires grey / YELLOW and RED / black activate when the key is in the acc 1 position
I went ahead a tested each wire at the ignition harness and the following information provided in the pdf was correct. The results are: 1 Ignition wire, 1 starter wire, 3 accessory wires, and 3 12volt constant wires.
Below is how I wired the remote start
4-pin satellite harness diagram
1 BLUE STATUS OUTPUT
2 ORANGE (-) ACCESSORY OUTPUT
3 PURPLE (-) STARTER OUTPUT
4 PINK (-) STARTER OUTPUT
Relay Pin 85 to H2/23 Orange
Relay Pin 86 and 87 to +12V constant
Relay Pin 30 to Acc3 BLUE/LT GREEN @ ignition harness
Relay Pin 87a not used - insulate

Heavy gauge relay wiring diagram
1 PINK (+) (30 AMP) OUTPUT TO IGNITION CIRCUIT     RED / Light Green
2 PURPLE (+) (30 AMP) OUTPUT TO STARTER CIRCUIT     Dk Green
3 ORANGE (+) (30 AMP) OUTPUT TO ACCESSORY CIRCUIT     Grey / YELLOW
4 RED (+) (30A) HIGH CURRENT 12 INPUT     Yellow #1
5 PINK/WHITE (+) PROGRAMMABLE OUTPUT FOR ACCESSORY OR IGNITION     RED / Black
6 RED (+) (30A) HIGH CURRENT 12V INPUT     Yellow #2
The problem is that when I turn the vehicle off the radio and windshield wipers continue to run even when the door is open. I know the problem is due to the relay I put in because when I unplug the relay for the third acc wire the radio turns off when the door is opened.
How should I go about fixing the issue?

Have you dioded across the relay coil? 1N4004, band side to 86. Also can I assume 86 and 87 share a 20 amp fuse?

Test that orange, make sure it goes to ground on R/start only.

Change 86 on the Accy-3 Relay from a hot at all times, to Ignition 1 RED / Green. Then there is no B+ to the relay coil in OFF, and the relay will turn off with the key.
