I'd like to install a hardwired radar detector in my wife's Accord and need to pick up a switched power wire but from what I've seen so far, it looks like it's going to be more involved than I expected. Can/would anyone here let me know where the most simple location is for power? Do I really need to remove the bottom of the dash and steering column? Thanks

Have you checked the cigarette lighter/power port to charge your phone or ipod? Have you checked for switched power at a fuse in the fuse box? If not in one of those 2 locations, there is a good chance you will need to remove a panel or 2.
