Echo 1 transceiver
Been lurking for a while, but this is my first post. lots of good info here. I hope someone can help me out.
The alarm has been installed for about 10 years.
First, my Echo transceiver has failed on me and I hope I can save it rather than pay $75 for a replacement. It only vibrates when pressing buttons... that's it. It doesnt arm/disarm the alarm. I cant get into programming. I cant change from vibrate to chirp... nothing. Is there any kind of factory reset on this transceiver?
Second, I have the original transmitter with no screen that seems to work fine, but for some reason the doors have never lock/unlock when arming/disarming. In the past I had to hit the arm button (on the Echo) at least 2x before the doors would lock and that didnt always work either. I have been manually locking/unlocking the doors for years because I never know if the alarm would actually do it for me. Anyone know a solution to that little problem? I just want the doors to lock when arming and I want the doors to unlock when disarming... pretty simple.
Please help!
