Hi-
I have some LED bullet lights that I want to wire in a project. I want to use them as running lights, brake lights, and turn signals. They have 3 wires going to them. I saw some similar topics but not one exactly for what I'm looking to do.
Thanks in advance,
Joe

Are the three wires black, blue, and red? If so, black is ground, blue is 12v+ dim (parking and/or running input), red is 12V+ bright (brake and turn signal input).

I will have to verify the colors. I just know their are 3 wires.
Here is a link to the lights

Do I need any diodes or resistors? If so please let me know what size/rating I need.
Thanks,
Joe

The link doesn't appear to be working. The pic shows a red, white, and black wire.

I pulled up a few ebay listings with the ID number. All the descriptions say it's a 12V light, so you shouldn't need any resistors, nor will you need any diodes. I'd test it on the bench first before making any permanent connections, but my guess would be black is ground, white is 12v+ dim, and red is 12V+ bright. You can use a plain 9V battery to test it for convenience.

That's great! I'll get a battery. I guess I can't test the turn signals? Most of the write ups that I saw guys are using resistors or the lights hyper blink. I am not sure what brand and or rating lamps they are using.
