I have the alarm working now.
I do need some advice on protecting the rear of the truck. The sensor internal to the alarm is working fine in the cab of the truck when I bump on the cab body it responds. Where the bed goes on a normal pickup I have a service body. I can beat on it and the alarm does not respond. I suspect it may be to mechanically isolated from the cab? The service body has 9 doors to it's just not practical to protect each door with a pin switch. Can I add a sensor in the back like a 504D or is there a better option???
I will lick the door actuator part when they arrive. I have a concern about the stroke on the actuator possible being longer than the stroke on the factory door rod causing wear on the locking system but I may be overthinking that.
