I installed a viper 5706v along with idatalink Acla bypass in a Nissan Murano 2009.
The remote start works fine other then ever since I installed it I have a vdc and slip light lit on my dashboard. Any ideas what could be causing this with a remote start install?
I tried disconnecting the power to the alarm and I still get the lights.
We used data 2 data. I can post the connections if necessary,
Thanks for any insight/help

did you power all ignition wires and did you program them accordingly? In other words if you have a 2nd accessory wire in the vehicle that drops during crank, is the viper doing the same thing. Sometimes warning lights arise because something either isn't getting powered when it should be or is being powered when it shouldn't be. Did you unplug any switches that may not have been plug back in or didn't click all the way?

I'm Matt's brother and worked on the install with him. We used idatalinks instructions found here http://cdncontent2.idatalink.com/corporate/Content/Manuals/DL-NI5/ADS-AL(DL)-NI5-EN_20150212.pdf
We used type 1 as described. We connected the Ingition + output in parallel with the idatalink ignition + input (spliced them together) and soldered them to wire connected to the odbii pin 8 location. We used a 1n4001 diode with stripe side towards viper alarm on the wire that connects the ignition + output to the bypass + input splice. The install didn't call for a 2nd ignition wire connection. @dasbogie - what do you mean by programming the ignition wires accordingly? all of the 12v constants from viper were spliced together and wired to battery with inline fuse. We did not connect the connections shown in red as it was the intention to install d2d in 2 way. thanks for all of the help and if its helpful I can list all connections but it basically follows the install guide linked above down to a T.

The iDatalink install guide you listed above is for the ADS version of firmware.  Probably just a slight mix-up.  The correct install
guide is the DBI version of firmware ( #20852 ).  The wiring is the same.  The main point, though, is you want to check to see
exactly which firmware is flashed on to the ADS AL-CA module.  It must be DBI-AL(DL)-NI5.  This is the correct firmware to
support the Vipers DBI D2D communication protocol.
Soldering is fun!

Finally got some time. I checked the module and its indeed flashed with Dbi-al(Dl)-ni5(v1.6)
After using the remote start for a while now I've noticed about 20% of the time the car auto shuts off as soon as I open the door even if the timer hasn't gone down. I can't seem to find anything that triggers when it shuts off and when it stays running

To add a little more I've checked all harnesses and they are fully connected.
Also had autozone connect to the obd port and its throwing p0603 if that helps
