Hello there, i have a 2013 toyota camry with the smartkey.
i have the 5706v, its programmed to a dball2 that i had, i think its faulty. so i replaced it with a new dball2. I programmed it with the USB, i am having troubles with setting up the module as per instructions. (it is wired as D2D)
it says that after you plug in the 4 sockets, wait for the light to be solid red. yes it is.
step 2 says if my car has a OEM remote starter, it will detect then turn orange. my car doesnt have a OEM remote starter, so it doesnt turn orange.
step 3 says to press the smartkey button twice to turn into ignition mode I pressed it 2 times, my car horn goes off
any idea how to resolve this? much appreciated

First question Do you have EIPS engine idle protection turned on. There was a page dedicated to this during the flashing process on the computer. I am assuming you have the GREEN/ black PTS wire from the DBALL2 hooked to Violet Pin 1 on the PTS connector?

Meaning pins and wire colors matched description correct?

Step 2 says wait 4 seconds. I am assuming you are waiting at least 4 seconds before proceeding?

Since there is nothing cut or modified unplug the DBALL2 and press the PTS button 2x. Does the ignition turn on correctly? I have seen the guides be wrong about to to turn the IGN ON Engine off meaning it may require pressing and holding the PTS instead. Verify what the car needs and repeat that at step 4.

To master and control electricity is perfection. *evil laugh*

thank you racerjames76, you are absolutely right. thank you for pointing me. I just noticed, level 3 and 4 arming (silent and full silent modes) doesnt seem to properly arm correctly. the icons show up and then disappear.
This is a new dball2 and new 5706v alarm. is there some sort of programming needed to be done for this?
