hi, the brake pedal in my car outputs 2.5ish volts and I need 12v for my aftermarket push start system to work. So I was thinking of using a relay so when I push the brake pedal it outs 12v. So if I wire it as shown below will this work?
87 - outputs 12v to aftermarket push start system
86&30 - fused 12v
85 - brake pedal wire

THis will NOT work, and you could send +12v to the pedal wire potentially damaging the unit.
Please post year, make, model.

Use the 12Volt feed to one of the brake lights.
