I have a 120ac to 18 volt dc power supply. I would like to use it for testing car stereos & amps.I don't know where to get a regulator, or where to buy a kit to build one.I don't know if the voltage will drop under load or if it will smoke the equipment being tested. Also, I can assume it has the correct fuse installed & try to guess the amperage. Any help would be appreciated.
