I have an aps25e alarm installed in a 2003 gmc sierra. the aps25e has an led/program/valet led all together. where you push in the led to program or valet the alarm. I want to add a brighter led to this alarm. I see it has two plugs on it. a small one and a larger one. the smaller one seems the same size as the viper blue led's. can I simply unplug the smaller plug and plug in the new led or does this supply signal or power to the alarm..     thanks.

The smaller of the two plugs is the one that controls the LED simply cut the two wires off and attach your new LED to those two wires .
