hey guys.
I have 2 questions ..
I want to install module for roll up window and I am already installed security system ( viper 5706 V ) , my question is do I need to connect relay between viper and roll up module or not ? I mean is the module consider as a relay when I connect viper to car window.
my 2nd question do I need a module for roll up window or just viper with relay 5 pin and control by aux in remote ?
thanks

Direct to module, depends on which make of module.
But normally no relay required depending on car make, model and year.

Thx howie II,that's very helpful ...
But what If I adding additional device 516U Talking Vocalarm Module ,do I need any relay\ diode for (siren , ignition, ground ,etc , coz I read somewhere remark says 'when adding more than one accessories the average ground when armed output, the two accessories must be diode isolated' !!! What do these words mean? do I need diode for all ground device ( viper ,roll up module ,516U module ) ???.
thanks .. gaith

Wouldn't know, if you're running two items off the orange GWA at H1, then diode separate, 2 X 1N4004, bands towards the Viper, any more than two you might need a relay.

You're right unless you use a latching relay, you'll be drawing on the battery all the time the alarm is on.
The orange has limited current capacity so if you want say a third output for it, e.g. a tilt sensor you'd be better off using one of the aux outputs, link as latch with arm.
