2001 vw jetta wiring diagrams, component location

I have a 2001 jetta. I am looking for information for a number of issues. First, the automatic locks occuring without actuating from key fob. How can i fix this. Secondly, my door entry lights (lights on doors for illumination) do not work. I checked for 12 volts at light, there is power. When i put ground wire to light ground, they operate. How can i fix this? Thirdly, i would like to install factory fog lights. I want to u$e factory style switch. How can i install the lights when not original to car? Lastly, i want to upgrade my interior and seats. My stock cloth seats have airbags and seat heaters only. Can i install leather power seats from a newer model (like 2005 jetta) ? One more question, this car requires a scan tool and code reader for soo many things. Where can i get what i need for a reasonable price? Thank you.No stranger to danger
