Hello,
I am sorry if this is a dumb question but after searching I am still not able to track down an answer.
While installing a remote starter do I need to do anything special to keep the car stereo off while there is no key in the ignition?
Thanks

Depends on the vehicle you can always open the radio ACC feed with a relay controlled by the GWR (status) wire.

Thank you for the reply.
This is for a 2003 Toyota Corolla and a 2004 Nissan Sentra.

Just don't connect the ACC wires, then see if other circuits are affected.
