I have a Viper 5901 system in my 2003 Yukon Xl, I bought the truck with it installed. When i bought it the system worked fine. The 2 way remote however wouldn't work, so I bought a new one (RPN 7752v). In the wait of the new remote i was carrying the 1 way in my hand with a grocery bag and i accidentally hit some buttons, the alarm went off. i got the alarm to shut off but then the remote was making a error type of noise. i pulled the battery, let it sit for a few minutes then re-installed the battery. hit the START button, it would turn over but not run. then it would make the error noise again when i hit the UNLOCK button. pulled the battery, put it back it. The doors unlocked. Hit START, error noise. Pulled the battery, hit START, then it'd turn over but not run. Gave up for the night. Week and a half later, new 2 way remote arrived, charged it, went out to the truck to pair the remote. Watched a few YouTube videos, read a few reviews. The Viper system will not go into pairing mode. I did it about 10 times. unhooked all 4 fuses let it sit for about 30 minuets, still nothing. The only time the Blue LED blinks is when I have the key off. Key on, press it once, then press and hold, nothing. even held it for 60 seconds. I'm at a complete loss.

Is your door sense wire hooked up? If not you may need to ground the green wire on the main harness of the Viper, turn on ign and then go through programming sequence. The door wire needs to appear "open" for the programming to work.
