Hi,
I am trying to troubleshoot my glow plug wiring system in my diesel car. It seems that I don't have sufficient voltage at the plugs even though the battery supplies the proper voltage.
Are there some rules of thumbs for acceptable voltage drop from the battery to the consumer (based on wiring cross sections etc etc)?
Example: If the battery has a voltage of 12,5V, is it normal to have 11,5V at the consumer (1V voltage drop)?
Lucas
