Hello: I have a 120 V on / off electric actuator valve from valworx.com. I have been able to wire it with a 3 way switch meaning when power is sent to the (open valve) circuit, it opens and when power is sent to the (close valve), it closes.
However, I wanted to use a zwave 3-way switch to automate this process and I have not been able to make a zwave 3 way switch behave in the same manner as a conventional 3 way switch. Something about how these z wave 3-way switches are wired that makes them different.
Can someone help me figure out how to use a spdt relay to make this happen? I understand the basics and believe that a spdt relay will allow me to switch power between the open and close circuits on this valve.
