Hey guys.. This is driving me insane!
03 silverado fully loaded
Prostart ct 5072
Dball 2 flashed with 402 gm4 3.13
Dball 2 is wired with d2d cable to prostart and only the purple / YELLOW wire is going to the obd plug.
When it doesnt work the dball has no light on..when this happens the security light is on my heater is off and my heated seats are off
When it works the dball flashes green
It worked perfect untill my battery died for a week.. Is there something im missing.. Direct tech help is sorta useless i was told its hard to tell lol
Thanks on advance.. Id love to be warm again..

I would say pull the DBALL2. They don't really test the firmware on older cars. I would use something proven like the GMDLBP. Always works never fails. The DBALL2 is overkill for that vehicle. They have all the bugs worked out on the newer cars. Not so much on the older stuff

I would get your multi-meter out and test the wiring to see what is and is not getting power.

i wanted the easier route not in the mood to rip apart the truck to go w2w.. and it worked 100% right up untill my battery died and i jumped the truck?
am i missing something? so i need to reset it?
also some forums are saying i have an accessory 2 that i dont have wired in.. would the starter work ok for a bit then finally give up if that wasnt being powered? if so i would add another relay jumping off the first accessory to switch it on..?

i guess id be asking for a list of what should be getting 12v or w.e. volts it requires..
orange off the starter should get 12v correct?
what else powers the heater/passlock/heated seats?

You don't need to power the 2nd accessory. Boosting a battery plays havoc with electronics because few people do it correctly. I would suggest unplugging the remote starters power plug for 30 seconds and the D2D cable from the DB-ALL2. Then perform a hard reset on the DB-ALL2. Reprogram the DB-ALL2 to vehicle and test. You should also clean the main battery ground cable where it attaches to the frame. It is just above and to the side of the driver's side tow hook on the bumper. They are known to be poorly connected.

ground was cleaned as of the summer but ill go over it once more..
also i have re flashed the dball and tried a second one..
when it isnt working properly the dball has no power (flashing green led)..would hard wiring the power/ground on the dball with the blue plug solve that problem? or so i need to splice into the d2d cable?
