Hello all,
I installed a 4806v in a 2014 Toyota Tacoma the other week and I have added a siren to the system for the confirmations. Everything is working as it should except the siren will not work at all.
It is connected via relay to the H1/3 (200mA Horn Honk Output) and it will work if I supply 12v constant to the positive of the relay.
The output on the H1/3 wire is ~0.84v when the truck is locked/unlocked/alarm. It does not sound during any event, even when in setup. I have also not changed anything with regard to the horn chirp in the setup menu.
What am I missing here? Thanks all for you help!

How did you wire the relay?

30: Fused to 12v constant
85: Ground
86: H1/3 wire from Viper
87: Siren +

Sorry, I mean't to add that I have tested the relay and siren by connecting the 86 pin to another 12 constant and it works correctly.

The horn honk wire supplies a ground signal when activated. You've put ground on both sides of the coil.
Put pin 85 as +12v if you want to keep everything else wired the same.

Also, just wondering. The 4806 is remote start only, no alarm. Why not just connect the viper horn wire to your trucks horn?
Also, make sure your relay does not have a built in diode across the coil. If it does, having it wired the way you typed will hurt your viper unit.

Ok, so both 30 and 85 to the same 12v constant? There is no diode across the coil.
