Hello, I just bought my first ever car. So I was very eager to install a new receiver since the stock JBL system had only tape and cd players.
So I bought a Boss receiver and a harness like this
http://www.amazon.com/Metra-70-8113-Amplifier-Integration-2000-2004/dp/B0007WRQQ2
I plugged in the rca leads from the harness into the back of my receiver. I turned on the car and the receiver turned on, but there was no audio.
I tried replacing the receiver, but have the same problem. The stock radio works just fine. Any idea of what's wrong in the car?
It's a 2002 Camry SE. I'm totally lost and have no idea how to troubleshoot this.

Did you connect the 2 blue wires of the 8113 to the blue or blue/white wire of the deck?

The deck only has one blue wire that's labelled "Power Antenna". The harness has two wires. So I wired the solid one to the other solid one. The striped wire on the 8113 is not currently connected to anything. Should it be?

The blue/white wire is your amp turn on lead and needs to be powered up as well.
My ex once told me I have a perfect face for radio.

Pardon my ignorance, so do both the blue wires on the harness get connected to the blue wire on the deck? If not, where does it fo?

Yes, if the Boss does not have a separate wire for each, you can try connecting them together (don't make it permanent yet). However, if the blue wire in the Boss harness loses power when you switch from radio to another source (CD), then you can connect the blue/white wire to the red wire. That way the amp will be powered on any time the key is in the accessory/ignition position. You can always put a toggle switch on this wire if you want.

If your factory deck played fine, go ahead and make it permanent. That is your problem.
