I have a 1994 Mazda 626 ES V6 without keyless entry. It has 3 power door locks and the driver's door is operated by the key. The key switch has one wire that is always 12+, one wire that is always ground and one wire that is +12v lock, ground unlock and infinite resistance at rest.
I already added a 4th door lock actuator and wires it in so it fires with the rest of them. How do I get my Viper 5900 lock/unlock hooked up to this? If I give the third wire +12v the doors lock, if I give it ground, they unlock. There is a (+)Lock/(-)Unlock wire on the alarm but it doesn't work. I'm guessing it needs more current so I need a relay. I just don't know how to wire a relay for that.

Actually, you will need two relays.  Use the Vipers lock and unlock output.  Place a 1N4001 diode in each output wire, band

towards the Viper and connect these outputs to the wires shown in the diagram below.

Thanks. I found a 5 pack of relays with pigtail sockets for $12.50 on amazon so I'll wire this up as soon as they come.

The diodes go in the Viper lock/unlock wires or the purple and blue 'to actuator' lock/unlock wires?
Then the purple and blue 'to actuator' wires both go to my single wire from the door lock switch?

The diodes are added into the Blue and Green (-) door locks output wires from the Viper.  See diagram below :

Not sure how you have the added Drivers' door lock solenoid wired up but, see diagram below :

Thanks Kreg. I guess I was approaching this the hard way. Your diagram just drives my added door lock actuator and then the factory power locks do the rest, no changes needed. Got it.

Thanks, that works perfectly. I know it took me a long time to install, but the car is already 22 years old so no rush!
