Upgrading the system in my 03 Mercury Mountaineer. Have a 0ga kit on the way along with a 3200w hifinonics sub amp with plans on adding a 4ch 1000w amp to handle the door speakers. I know the stock alt isn't going to handle that kind of draw and while searching the web found this forum and thought I might get a few leads on an alt that would fit my needs.

I plan on replacing the current battery with at 1 from XSPower, replacing the big3 with at least 0ga if not a bit bigger.

I think I've got the basics covered, please feel free to comment your recommendations.

Page views don't mean much at all. Search engine spiders may account for most of them, and then the visitors that aren't members and can't reply. High output alternators have been discussed here many times. A forum search for the same will likely show you the answer you've been wanting to see.
