Starting the old amp

Hi guys,
I get a Pioneer GM3400 amp, and i would like to use it at home(cuz i have no car yet!).
So i get a proper PSU for it, now i dont know how to start it, it have one connector with 3 wieres,(red-on/off 12V ; blue-goes to car radio ; yellow-lighting switch).
How to start it?

Do you have a head unit you are hooking the amp to?

I need an soft starter, with him i switch amp on normaly.
