Hey people, this is my first time posting on here,so please be gentle hahah. Firstly I must say that this website its awesome. So informative you people are and its good to see what other people are up to and their inputs.
Okay So I was installing a Kenwood double DIN head unit "DNN9150BT" yesterday and I have come across a situation and now I'm stuck. Let me point out that I am no beginner in this department I have installing car accessories for a while now (not as a profession) but I've never had this happen to me. So when connecting all the wiring up to the back of the unit. For those that are unfamiliar with the unit, it comes with reverse camera sat nav ect.. So on the back it has the main power harness connector and a smaller one as well with only 2 wires coming out of it. 1 for reverse signal and the other for parking brake. Well I broke that connector plug haven't and god know where it is I can't find it anywhere. so I can not no longer connector these wires up. My initial thought was to open the head unit up and solder wires to the pin points inside the unit. I've done this before on a different situation but very similar.
But my question is does anybody know a where I'd be able to locate a new plug from ? because its brand new and id rather not have to solder wires to it even though id be more than confident doing so.
Let me know your thoughts on this and you think I should do. Or please share a similar situation you have been through, also tell us how you went about it to fix the problem. and what was the conclusion. Thanks guys

for the official plug an authorized dealer could order one direct but im sure you will pay a bunch. you could probably order a blank molex plug and pins for cheaper on amazon.

Is the connector two or more pins? Kenwood's website shows the DNN9150BT and DNN992 as having the same connections. The harness has reverse, parking and relay wiring. PacParts shows the harness/cable for a 992 as 880TDP8387-778 which also shows it as being used in other models. Ebay shows this http://www./itm/KENWOOD-ORIGINAL-4-PIN-RELAY-HARNESS-DNN990HD-DNX890HD-/131677306929?hash=item1ea8944031:g:F2gAAMXQVERS8ofR

tonanzith - I think you may have mis understood me. iths the connector that actually goes to the back of the unit itself. Not apart of the factory harness. I apoligies if I've actually misunderstood you hahah and mistaken what you said refers to the factory wiring harness not the unit itself.

Just an update for everyone. Who ever might be interested or anyone with the same situation. I have solved my problem with a bit of luck and pain free.
However you could do what Ween suggested with the link he posted, to purchase a new one. I was not ready to pay over $50 AUD for this piece. Worse case be I'd pull the head unit apart and solder wires the correct pins.
In my case. given that I install a lot of various types of equipment for people (not professionally Ive just got alot of experience).I tend to have alot of bits n pieces to all different types of equipment Turns out I had a couple of pioneers wiring harnesses that allows you to take a hi input (speaker wires) and connect straight to the amp. It's a 4 pin connector and would you believe it. Its bloody identical in shape and size... hahah in all my dayz I would of never of thought 😂😂
Thanks for your help though Ween. really appreciate it
