Anyone know if there is a way to trigger the remote process, with the factory installed remote start? I would like to add my home brew cell start system without having to install a remote start(one that has a trigger wire)
Thanks in advance.

Still trying to confirm it but I believe it is all don over can bus so no way without adding an aftermarket system that has an activation input.
i have HEARD rumors however of some limited success using raspberry pi etc to sniff the canbus lines when activating certain things "like remote start activation" and using the pi ti interface with the vehicle and duplicate commands.
