I was wondering if anyone could chime in or have any ideas on an issue I'm having with the install for my vehicle. I have 2006 Infiniti G35 coupe 6MT and install Viper 5706v & DBALL2 using D2D. It's my first time using a DBALL as I usually do "key-in-a box".
So after all the connections and wiring are done, I plug in the DBALL2 to program and I get RED / orange flashing. It's a Clock Bus Error (connection at the N.AT.S.). I've called Directed and they suggested to take out my T-tap and connect the wires directly because of the resistance the tap may be causing. Did all that, and still get the same programming is error. It's strange that even though I'm getting this error, all the functions work except the remote start. It won't crank. I can start the car with the key, press the remote start then pull the key out and the engine will still run.
Any ideas on what could be causing this issue?

the vehicle will not remote start if the bypass does not complete programming. The part of the programming you are missing is for the transponder which is 1 possible reason it is not starting. You saying that you can start the vehicle with the key then getting the system to take over is because the key is doing the transponder part and is not needed when doing take over.
Also you said this is a MT, are you doing the manual transmission reservation mode when trying to remote start?
Either way you need to get the transponder portion of the install correct. Double check your wires, Remove any t-taps on data wires, Solder all data connections. Reset and reprogram the bypass.

Case solved!
Everything works now. I've recheck my wiring and cross checked between DBALL2's wiring diagram and the Coupe manual. I totally had the wrong wires tagged in the NATS. The DBALL diagram didn't specify if I was looking harness side or wire side. I felt like a total dummy after swearing up and down I tagged the right wires in the first place.
