Does anyone know how to change the number of times the control center button has to be pressed in order to do a manual disarm with the key ?    Directed says the installer has to do it I have my own bit writer I just can't seem to find that option.

I don't know that there is a change. It is turn the ign ON then press the button. That will disarm the system, at least it used to be. It has been a while since I have installed DEI.

This was several years ago, but my on my old Viper it was menu 2 (convenience features), item 3 (valet switch pulse count). It was adjustable from 1 to 5.
My ex once told me I have a perfect face for radio.
