I would like to add some more DC outlets to my Subaru Crosstrek along with a LED light in the cubbie bin. I purchased a Painless Wireing fuse block to keep all this stuff separate from existing fuses to keep it clean and avoid additional problems.
A couple of questions I have is; should I use a DPST relay? do I need resisters and if so which kind? and is everything else in my diagram sound and safe?
My small led is one from adafruit (https://www.adafruit.com/products/1476) The button is just for illumination. It will not control anything.

Did not read or study your diagram, but yes you do need a resistor in series with the 3 volt LED. 1000 ohm 1/4 watt will be safe with just about any LED out there.

Ok. I updated the diagram to reflect that now.
I want to have the three elements in the rear cluster controlled by the one switch. This is the reason I think I need a DPST relay.

1K ohm 1/4 watt. You do not need a 100 watt device.

Is this a less convoluted diagram to get my results? It is my understanding that by adding resister I would be creating a heating issue so if I can avoid that, it would be better.
