hi all,
have a 2000 Ford van E350 SuperDuty that has OEM PDL (PowerDoorLocks) but did not come equipped with a remote.
Id like to add a remote (small keyfob type)
can anyone tell me if this is available as a stand alone and where to look for it or if I need an alarm system to add a remote to the PDL?
thanks

Just about every alarm manufacturer out there makes a Keyless Entry system. Probably not going to find anything searching for PDL.

i figured "keyless entry" would be those number pad on the door deals.
any recommendations? does ford make a plug and play unit for these older vans?
Ive done a couple of searches but only finding replacement key fobs and used OEM junkyard stuff. i'll keep looking but if anyone knows of a brand that has bad reputation, let me know so i can avoid them.

Amy after market system with keyless entry outputs will work. I recommend getting one that has built in relays for door locks. Your door lock system is more than likely reverse polarity (5wire).
